A HUMBLING HONOR: DR. D. TERRENCE FOSTER RECEIVES THE JOLLYWOOD JAMAICA HALL OF FAME LEGACY MEDAL
I am deeply humbled and honored to receive the Jollywood Jamaica Hall of Fame Legacy Medal, along with a custom-made image of my handprint and footprint commemorating my induction into the Hall of Fame in April 2024.
The medal carries a profound and meaningful message:
“The medal signifies that an individual’s work and impact are worthy of acknowledgment today and remembrance for generations to come.”
To receive this recognition is both a privilege and a moment of reflection. It reminds me that the work we do, the lives we touch, and the contributions we make to our communities can leave a lasting legacy that extends far beyond the present.
The presentation ceremony was held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Golden Krust Restaurant in Stone Mountain, Georgia. It was a special occasion celebrating achievement, service, and the enduring value of making a positive difference in the lives
of others.
My heartfelt thanks and appreciation go to Mr. R. Kanhai Condison of JOLLYWOOD Jamaica HALL OF FAME (Atlanta chapter), and Ms. Christine Marzouca of Christine Marzouca PR & Media Group for this thoughtful recognition and for honoring my body of work and achievements in both the United States and Jamaica.
While I accept this honor with gratitude, I recognize that no meaningful accomplishment happens in isolation. My journey of professional service, community involvement, philanthropy, and personal growth has been shaped by the encouragement, support, guidance, and contributions of many wonderful people.
I am sincerely grateful to the past and present Board Members of the D. Terrence Foster Foundation, Inc., whose commitment to our mission continues to help advance our work in healthcare awareness, education, and community support. I also extend my appreciation to my staff at my medical practice and companies, as well as to my friends, family, and everyone who has contributed to my growth and development and continues to support me along the way.
To my fellow Jollywood Jamaica Hall of Fame inductees, congratulations! I am proud to stand alongside you as we celebrate these treasured moments and the diverse contributions that make our collective legacy meaningful.
As I reflect on this honor, I am reminded that a legacy is not measured solely by awards or recognition, but by the lives we touch, the opportunities we help create, the knowledge we share, and the positive difference we leave behind.
May we all continue to serve with purpose, lead with integrity, give with compassion, and inspire future generations through our actions.
